TYPICAL YEARLY CALENDER
June:
Toledo Football Academy Tryouts - Academy (U9/10), Youth (U11/12/13/14) and High School (U15/16/17/18) start typically June 1st and run the first week of June.
July:
TFA Camps (optional) - Typically last two weeks of July (all ages).
August:
Fall Season for Academy and Youth Teams - Practice generally starts within the first two weeks of August. First fall tournament is normally mid to late August.
September:
Fall Season for Academy and Youth Teams.
October:
Fall Season for Academy and Youth Teams - Fall season generally finishes last weekend of October, along with the last fall tournament.
November:
Indoor Games (optional) - 2nd session at the Soccer Center, Maumee, starts mid November.
December:
Indoor Games (optional) - 2nd session at the Soccer Center.
January:
Indoor Training - Twice weekly for all TFA teams (included in club fees), generally start 2nd week of January.
Indoor Games (optional) - 2nd session finishes mid January. 3rd session starts late January.
February:
Indoor Training - Twice weekly for all TFA teams.
Indoor Games (optional) - 3rd session.
March:
Indoor Training - Twice weekly for all TFA teams, typically finishes mid March.
Indoor Games (optional) - 3rd session, typically finishes late March.
Spring Season for Academy, Youth and High School - Outdoor practice generally starts the last week of March/first week of April (weather permitting). First spring tournament is normally the last weekend in March.
Easter: England Tour (optional) - High school age players (U16 and up). Please see our England Page for more details.
April:
Spring Season for Academy, Youth and High School.
May:
Spring Season for Academy, Youth and High School - Spring season generally finishes last weekend of May, along with the last spring tournament.
TFA is in control of our league game schedule. Each coach attempts to schedule two away games on the same day to eliminate travel time and expenses. If you foresee any potential conflicts with any league games, please contact your coach ASAP. They can try and avoid possible conflicts, such as prom, out of school activities, etc.
